The Wild Camel Protection Foundation (WCPF), is the only organisation operating internationally which is devoted solely to the protection of the wild Bactrian camel (Camelus bactrianus ferus ) and its unique and fragile desert ecosystem. The WCPF strives to liaise with and co-ordinate all the efforts undertaken world-wide to protect this critically endangered animal.
