In general it is imperative that we try and have a lighter impact on the environment to help conserve all species.
We need to:
- Reduce your carbon footprint by reducing the amount of resources we are using by using less, reusing and recycling.
- Vote for politicians and decision makers that make the environment a priority.
- Purchase products from companies that make the environment a priority.
- Invest in companies that make the environment a priority.
- Help ensure that environmental issues are prioritised in the educational system.
- Support organizations that are working to conserve the environment.
Specifically for EDGE species you can:
- Help educate others of the importance of these remarkable and threatened species.
- Support conservation projects that are focusing on EDGE species. This can be done through ZSL here on the EDGE website.
- Support young scientists in countries such as the Philippines and Mozambique to study and conserve EDGE species. This can be done through ZSL here on the EDGE website.
