Hula Painted Frog (Discoglossus nigriventer) Rediscovered Yesterday

    Happy to announce that a park ranger in Hula swamp in Israel found yesterday a single frog. This specie haven't been seen since 1955.

    Yes it is exciting to see another specie deleted from the Amphibians Recent Extinctions list on EDGE site.
    Just make you think how many "Extincted" species are out there waiting to be found and this is just after the big and important "Find Lost Frogs Research" took place year ago or something. Amazing!
