    So how do you tell the difference between Grevy’s and mountain zebras? I always thought it was the ears

    @joe Grevy’s zebras have the thin stripes all around, it goes around the stomach and it does not have a dewlap.

    Distribution is also a useful way to narrow down the ID; mountain zebra is only found in southwest Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Angola), Grevy’s in the northeast of the continent (northern Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan).
